Percheron Hitch and Team
Introduction
They are truly a sight to behold. Whenever they make an appearance at an event, they steal the show. Their combination of grace, beauty and power is unmatched. In recognition of a great American tradition, we are proud to present the Bison Homes Percheron six-horse hitch team.
The Percheron is a powerful yet agile draft horse breed, known for its diligent work habit and docile temperament. Its color is black or gray, sometimes gray and white dappled, with a fine coat. The Bison Homes Percherons are rich black in color.
The Bison Homes team is made up of eight Percherons (six horses at most perform at any one time), a beautiful replica early American delivery wagon, the beautiful harnesses worn by the horses, and a stellar crew of horsemen who care for the Percherons and put them through their paces.
The Bison Homes Percherons make appearances at several events throughout the year (Prescott Frontier Days, Festival of the West and Show Low Days to name a few). Quite often these appearances feature competitive performances or demonstrations with wagon and harnesses and dressed in full regalia.
For more detailed information on our team of Percherons, or to visit them while they winter at West World, please contact their handler, Gary Keck, at 480-205-5990. |
