Past, Present & Future
Bison Homes is a family owned operation that traces its roots to North Dakota, where owner Gary Martinson learned the construction business from his father, a carpenter by trade. Gary built his first homes in 1970, and grew his company to become one of the largest homebuilders in that state. Seeking longer-term opportunities for more significant and sustained growth, Gary moved his base of operations to the warmer climes and more favorable economic environment of Arizona in the early 1980s. Since that time, Gary has built more than 1,800 new homes and has been involved in the development of over a quarter million square feet of commercial projects from the company's conveniently located Fountain Hills headquarters.
After many years of success in the Fountain Hills residential market and fine tuning its popular resort lifestyle concept, Bison Homes expanded its market to North Scottsdale and Tucson's Oro Valley . The Company proceeded to expand into other select Arizona sub-markets, and is currently in various stages of sales and development of a series of new Bison Homes resort communities.
With the simultaneous goals of capitalizing on the continuing current strength of the Arizona real estate market while establishing a solid foundation for the Company's long-term future As a result of its concentrated efforts, the Company expects to generate between $25-50 million in combined revenue annually into the foreseeable future.
Bison Homes is proud of its past, diligent with the present and confident about its future. Commenting on the reasons for the Company's success, Gary Martinson states: "We listen to our buyers. We avoid competition. We have a great team. We do our homework. We are loyal to our subcontractors and suppliers, and we are good citizens. Most of all, we offer a desirable product in great locations at an excellent value that creates an enduring investment for our owners." |
